"Equality State", my hairy faggot ass!

"Equality State", my hairy faggot ass!
~ Woody
I don't even have the words for these two articles. I'm not sure I can form coherent sentences. But I'll do my best to make my English teachers from WHS proud. Grammatically, that is. I'm not so sure what some of them will say about the content.

I had to let my family know that I wouldn't be back to that little piss-ant shit-hole of a town any time soon because the entire fucking thing is full of intolerant hate-mongers.

Wyoming really needs to change its motto from "Equality State", and really fucking soon. It's fully equal for anyone who's white and straight. If you're not fighting to fix  the travesty of that or didn't speak out in opposition to what your small-minded school board chose to do, then you're just as culpable. On one hand, they prevented a teacher at WHS from teaching that Islam is a religion of hate, yet they take down banners encouraging tolerance for everyone? One face per person, people.

If you're going to teach your children intolerance, let it all fly. Let them call each other faggots. Dykes. Niggers. Spics. Kikes. You can't pick and choose tolerance, people.

Believe it or not, hate is not something inherent. Hate has to be taught. YOU HAVE TO TEACH YOUR CHILDREN TO HATE. Good job with that one.

Oh, one more thing, and this goes out to the small-minded useless sacks of skin on the school board who voted to take the banners down:

A lot of the kids that you think you're protecting from the evils of the outside world are turning 18 this year. How many of you are up for re-election, either this year or in two years? Ask Polly White about making unpopular decisions and how they affected her tenure as PCSD School Board President.

To the 18-year-olds who might be reading this, remember to vote. The class of 91 (yes, we're ancient) voted her out.

I remember when this was a free country and I could like or dislike anyone I choose to with-out someone calling me a racist or worse.  I have the right to NOT like or put up with anything I choose not to last I checked. Even the ranting of some Wheatlandite from the past (Woody).  However I can not physically attack or try to imtimidate anyone because of there beliefs or religion.  Again I can voice my opioion about anyone or anthing I choose and I do not have to like, support or teach my children to follow your ideals.

Good luck with your silly idea that we all need to listen to you and your adjenda. By the way you can disagree with me and I won't cry about it like you do.

 Typical:
"I do believe that some mindsets need to progress with the time and that this kindness should be shown to all, no matter race, or sexual orientation."

You moved to a place you like, it is the way it is because of the people there, so, naturally, you want to change it.

Ridiculous.

New in Town:
I moved to Wheatland a year and a half ago with my wife and two sons.  We have recieved random acts of kindness that we never experienced where we moved from.  I believe that there are a lot of great people in this community and am proud to be a resident.

I do believe that some mindsets need to progress with the time and that this kindness should be shown to all, no matter race, or sexual orientation.

reality bites:
It never ceases to amaze me the hypocrisy that spews from this town.

Some have the nerve to call this berg "ultraconservative" yet wife swapping runs rampant, cheating on your spouse is acceptable, cross-dressing is hidden behind flannel shirts and manly pursuits, drugs are dealt out of public offices and nepotism runs rampant.

Yet a No Place for Hate banner scares the pants off people.

"We must protect our children from the big, bad gays and lesbians!"

Drop your torch of virtue and look around you.

As Clark Griswold said in Christmas Vacation, "We're at the gates of hell, Helen!"

There's a LARGE difference between anger, contempt and hate. And thank you for understanding the difference. OH WAIT. You don't. Thank you for playing. (Oh, and in case you were wondering, that was contempt. I have no time nor use for the ignorant.)

Wheatland is not, as a whole, a horrible, hateful place. This action was wrong, but not at all what people in this community feel and believe as a whole! There are a great many people here who truly care for others and want this community to thrive and be a safe and great place to live and to raise your kids. As a parent here, I think the no place for hate program is a great thing to teach our children! Note that, when you make comments grouping the whole community negatively, that it was not voted by a landslide in the school board, and that so many people are speaking out their support of the program....maybe this should be the focus?!

It don't really matter:

Dear person who posted “What the ####”

I just wanted to start with, I’m not part of this community, heck, I haven’t ever even lived in Wyoming, but I do enjoy coming over to read the blogs. Now saying that … I understand that you are a little irked about gettingsomething cut, but if you read the rules as you enter “Nailing Jello”.  It states that Woody gets to say whatever hewants to say, but if you comment with off-color words/remarks it will get cut.

I have a feeling that this is because the latest commentsare shown on the home page of this site…where as the actual blog posts are intheir own separate area’s with the warnings of what lies ahead, so people canelect not to go there.  The comments areright on the front page so you *really* don’t want off colored remarks showingup there.  ::shrug::

That’s my take on it anyways.

Clean Comment Reminder:
Note to all: Life Ain't Fair and Free Speech is like a Free Lunch...here on Wheaterville, even if you're commenting on a Jello Post, if you want your post to stay up and be read you gotta "write nice". No swearing, no racist, homophobic, or just plain potty mouth crap. You can say whatever you want to say if you follow this One Rule. Otherwise, we take you down and cut you off if you keep it up. Ouch.
